Color Lab is an iOS application for professional color analysis. The app uses the device camera and locally selected photos to detect and convert colors into HEX, RGB, HSL, and Lab values.

1. Data We Collect

Color Lab is designed to minimize data collection.

• We do not require account registration.
• We do not collect personal identifiers by default.
• We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
• We do not sell personal data.

2. Camera and Photo Access

• Camera access is used only to sample colors from live camera frames.
• Photo library access is used only when you choose to import an image for color analysis.
• Analysis is performed exclusively on-device.

3. Data Processing and Storage

• Color analysis is processed locally on your device.
• By default, images and sampled colors are not uploaded to external servers.
• App preferences (such as first-run consent and UI settings) are stored locally using iOS user defaults.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with third parties for advertising or tracking. If sharing is ever introduced in a future version, this policy and App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before release.

5. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data processed by the app. While no system is completely risk-free, Color Lab follows a strict privacy-by-design approach and minimizes off-device data transfer to ensure your safety.

6. Children’s Privacy

Color Lab is not intended to knowingly collect personal data from children under the age required by applicable law.

7. International Users

If you use the app outside your country, local legal requirements may apply. We aim to operate in accordance with applicable global privacy laws.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by changing the Effective Date and, where required, notifying users in-app or via the App Store listing.
